Welcome New Families ๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŒฟ Welcome to CA Frost! ๐ŸŒฟ

Garden Club & Green Team

At CA Frost, we dig into learning โ€” literally!

๐ŸŒฑ Garden Club

Garden Club is open to all Frost families โ€” no experience, tools, or sign-ups required!
We meet all year long, and in the summer, we gather:

  • Tuesdays at 6 PM
  • Thursdays at 9 AM

Kids can help water, weed, harvest, and explore the garden. Every other Tuesday evening, they can also collectย Veggiemon cardsย โ€” fun, collectible cards earned by helping out and learning something new each week!

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŒพ Garden Club is a great way to connect with nature, make friends, and take home fresh veggies and flowers grown by our school community.

๐ŸŒผ Green Team Initiatives

๐Ÿชด Greenhouse Activities

Each year, students enjoy seasonal activities in our school greenhouse โ€” like seed sowing, transplanting, and hydroponics experiments. We typically offer 4 events per year, with hands-on fun for every grade level!

โ™ป๏ธย Waste Diversion Programs

Weโ€™re proud to teach sustainability by leading school-wide efforts in:

  • Recycling
  • Paper Gator
  • TerraCycle
  • NexTrex Plastic Film Recycling
These programs help us reduce waste and care for the planet every day.

๐ŸŒŽ Earth Day Celebration

Our biggest Green Team event of the year! Earth Day includes:

  • Hands-on learning stations
  • Garden & nature crafts
  • An all-school Hike-a-Thon fundraiser
  • Volunteer opportunities for families

๐ŸŒธ Get Involved!

Everyone is welcome to join Garden Club and support Green Team efforts โ€” parents, siblings, and neighbors too! Whether you want to garden, volunteer, or simply cheer us on, thereโ€™s a place for you.
